- Dentistry: complete care of all needs including cleaning and polishing, x-rays, extractions if needed, and oral surgery.
- 24 Hour Emergency Service: Please call our office number for instructions for after hour emergencies.
- Geriatric Care Plan: A complete evaluation of all geriatric pets older than 6 years of age. The plan includes physical, neurological, and ophthalmic exams. Urinalysis and laboratory tests are also preformed to evaluate all major organ functions. An EKG is used to diagnose heart disease. A full written report is included with a follow up appointment to discuss the results.
- Grooming: Lisa Houch has been grooming dogs and cats at Village Animal Hospital for more than 20 years. She and her 2 associates have extensive experience with show cuts and are gentle with all pets. Please call Lisa on her directed phone line at 985-LISA(5472).
- House calls are available to our home bound clients and multiple pet households.
- Hospitalization and Surgery: We have the ability to treat many different health problems. Hospitalized pets are given all the necessary care to resolve their health problems. This care can include x-ray, EKG, IV fluids, oxygen cage, tonopen for eye pressure measurements, endoscopy, pulse oximetery and surgery. Surgery: Routine surgeries as well as major soft tissue and orthopedic procedures are performed at Village Animal Hospital. We take special pride in our surgical abilities. Using the safest anesthetics available, as well as cardiac and respiration monitoring equipment, the patient's vital signs are measured during all anesthetic procedures.
We are proud to offer laser surgery as a progressive new option for our clients who want the safest and least painful treatment for their pets.
