Meet Our Veterinarians

Mel J. Kattelman D.V.M.
Dr. Kattelman graduated in 1981 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Joining the practice in 1983 and becoming full owner in 1986, Dr. Kattelman has special interests in surgery and geriatric medicine. His two miniature dachshunds, Margaret and Katie, and his two rescue cats, Rita and Max, are all very playful and think they are the center of attention. Dr. Kattelman is active in pet community affairs and enjoys spending time with his wife and son.

Kimberly Moulton D.V.M.
Dr. Moulton graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in1989. She joined the Village Animal Hospital staff in 1991 and has a special interest in pet behavioral problems. Dr. Moulton and her family are very fond of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed and are planning on adopting puppy in the near future. She has a cat named Nancy who is very affectionate. In her spare time, Dr. Moulton likes to garden and spend time with her two daughters and husband.

Jane Smiley D.V.M.
Dr. Smiley graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She completed a medical/surgical/emergency internship at Metroplex Veterinary Center in Dallas, Texas and has now returned to her hometown. During the course of her career, Dr. Smiley has adopted two-mixed breed dogs, Freddie and Junebug and two orphaned cats, Scooter and Siren. Freddie and Junebug are best of friends and are partners in crime, chewing on shoestrings, toothbrushes and plants. Scooter and Siren are more relaxed and regal. Of course, they're cats! In her spare time, she likes to swim, rollerblade and study theology.
