  • Hospitalization and Surgery: We have the ability to treat many different health problems. Hospitalized pets are given all the necessary care to resolve their health problems. This care can include x-rays, ECG, IV fluids, oxygen cage, tonopen for eye pressure measurements, endoscopy, pulse oximetery, blood pressure monitoring and surgery. Routine surgeries as well as major soft tissue and orthopedic procedures are performed at Village Animal Hospital. We take special pride in our surgical abilities. Using the safest anesthetics available, as well as cardiac and respiration monitoring equipment, the patient's vital signs are measured during all anesthetic procedures.

We are proud to offer laser surgery as a progressive new option for our clients who want the safest and least painful treatment for their pets. Only recently have veterinarians turned to laser surgery. Nationwide, only 20% of all hospitals offer laser surgery and we are proud to be on the leading edge of advanced animal care. In many cases, laser surgery is extremely beneficial compared to traditional surgery. Laser technology, with its medical use dating back to the early 1960's, reduces trauma to your pet, shortens recovery and often decreases the length of hospital stays for your loved ones.

The benefits of laser surgery are:

  • • Less Pain
  • • Less Bleeding
  • • Less Swelling
  • • Extreme Precision
  • • Reduced Risk of Infection
  • • Quicker Recovery
